Hi, I am seeking an investor in a new live music nightclub, South East England. My local area I crying out for a live music venue as there is not any for miles but the town has a huge population and rapidly growing. I have approached the council but they have wasted their funds on the olympics.... therefore I'm looking for someone to invest. The venue sought is town central, near bus/train stations etc and other pubs/bars. The idea behind the venue is to offer opportunities for aspiring bands to play. The New CD by RICH REICH

With his long awaited CD effort, affectionately titled "In your face", Rich Reich combines elements of Folk, Jazz, Country and Hard Rock to create one of the most well rounded independent releases in recent memory. Released on his own label "CSAM Records", The 35 minute CD features 9 songs all penned by RR. 4 years in the making, this recording contains some of Reich's finest work to date. The magic of this record is due largely to the sum of its parts.

Recorded in and around New York City, the outing was produced by Eric Mauriello who, as well as engineering the recording, played bass, keyboards, guitar, miscellaneous percussion, and sang on a number of tracks. Also featured on the cd are the talents of Phil Bloom (drums and percussion) , Theresa Cifali (back up vocals), Nellie Ramos (back up vocals on "Pieces"), Bruce Algera (Pedal steel guitar on "Unpatiently"), and John Campagna (flute on "Unpatiently").

Reich is currently located in Boulder, Colorado where he plans to reinvent the music industry.

my music goes by the band name 'the Division Deep', and as the title it's, strange-ish. So, if you like something different but not too strange give my stuff a listen. www.SwiftyBand.com, for a first reccomendation I'd probably go with 'the Silent Boy'. It's the most single-like song I have on the new cd. 'I'm Left Waving' makes me think of a Carnival.

I am working on a plan to promote indie-artists and bands in India - through various channels like direct marketing & club representation, etc. I am mostly looking at direct sales for CDs (min. 1000 pieces) through a well-knit network of music lovers, which I am in the process of developing. Basically I am open to any genre - which sounds good but is not commercial and yes, eclectic - becoz Indian music lovers are opening to new sounds. We'll test market in Clubs & then sell to a captive database of music afficianados in major Indian metros. Global Music Project worldwide launch on Feb 24th

Global Music Project (it's downloadable music, but the money goes to charity!) is currently gearing up for its worldwide launch on Feb 24th. In Seattle, it will be at Bada Lounge (7pm). We're also planning parties in the UK and Zambia Africa on that same day. IMPORTANT: If you know anyone in other parts of the globe that might like some exposure for their music and willing to have a launch party there, let us know.

If you're in the Seattle area, come down to the meeting this Tuesday night (Jan 4th) at 7pm at Bada Lounge. You could meet a few of our volunteers and see what we're up to! If you know anyone else that might want to check it out as well, bring them along or send them to globalmusicproject.org

Greetings everybody.

I'm a tribe newbie and I just want to make my introduction. I like what this tribe is about and I hope some of you find my music of interest.

I am a professional musician, (I actually pay my bills by performing) and I am happy to connect with musicians of all levels.

Music is my prayer. I connect with Spirit in music. My love started young, learning the western traditions with piano, guitar, chorus, musical theater. Later I learned a deep and profound power when I lived in West Africa for a couple years.

The West African musical tradition is rich in spiritual connection. Originally studying Djembe, I fell in love with the Kora, the 21-string harp used by the griots of the great kingdom of Mali. It is a mystical instrument that takes time to learn, but it is truly a sublime instrument of spiritual power.

I also have learned to play the Dan Tranh, the 17-string zither of my own homeland, Vietnam. With the Dan Tranh I connect deeply with my ancestors and convey the indominable strength and spirit of my people. The sound of the Dan Tranh; the pentatonic major scale, the smoothly bending notes, the glissando of running over the row of strings... all this can bring the mind and heart into a meditative state as well as bring great joy.

These instruments reach in and grab the listener on an emotive level. I frequently play them during healing sessions (I also am a practitioner of acupuncture/Chinese medicine).

I have learned to play these instruments under the guidance of masters of the traditions. This teacher/student relationship itself produces profound spiritual growth.

I hope to find fellow musicians here that play in Spirit. I love to jam, network and exchange ideas. I hope to have a CD done soon.
